Let’s dive in!
⏪ Game Week Rewind
Congrats to these three players who placed first, second, and third in Limited Champion.

🔎 Multi Game Monitor
All teams play three games!
☔️ Rain Check
The weather looks like it will be an obstacle this weekend.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few postponements and some games kicked off the slate.
Monitor the Sunday weather in particular because these games won’t be made up in GW11.
Pittsburgh - Weather looks terrible Sunday, 71% chance of thunderstorms, high risk
Cincinnati - Rainy all weekend, 54% chance on Sunday
Cleveland - Rainy all weekend, 63% chance on Sunday
Philadelphia - 74% chance of rain Sunday
New York - 78% chance of rain Sunday
Washington DC - Rainy all weekend, 78% chance Saturday/ 88% chance Sunday
Minnesota - 80% chance of rain Friday night
St. Louis - 53% chance of PM thunderstorms Saturday night
Kansas City - 80% chance of rain/thunderstorms Friday
⚾️ Pitching Primer
Aaron Nola vs SFG - Nola was bumped off last week’s slate to much dismay of Sorare managers (me). But he draws another great matchup here against the Giants. San Fran is about league-average in most offense metrics but pretty weak in power (.133 ISO).
George Kirby at HOU - Kirby just struck out 12 batters over 7 innings against Arizona. Houston is a tougher offense and they’ve been striking out at the lowest rate in the league (16.9%), but their offense has been sputtering for most of the year.
Tanner Houck vs MIN - I’m not sure when Tanner Houck became elite but I am here for it. Minnesota is as hot as they come but they still strikeout at the 8th highest rate in the league (24.2%). And you can play Houck’s older Sorare cards at RP.
Tarik Skubal at NYY - Another tough matchup but Skubal is ranked ninth in xFIP (2.76) and eighth in K% (29.7%).
Tyler Glasnow vs ATL - All the studs have less-than-ideal matchups this week. Glasnow is the SP8 on FantasyPros but draws Atlanta’s offense. They’ve been underperforming all season but I usually try to avoid picking on them unless it’s an ace like Glasnow.
Other Starters Include:
Framber Valdez vs SEA
Pablo Lopez vs BOS
Jared Jones vs COL
Kevin Gausman at WSH
📞 Call To The Bullpen
There is no advantage to be had this week with every team playing three games.
I’d recommend prioritizing closers in matchups where the series is projected to stay competitive.
Closer Options:
Josh Hader - HOU
Andres Muñoz - SEA
Evan Phillips - LAD
Raisel Iglesias - ATL
Kenley Jansen - BOS
Jhoan Duran - MIN
💰 Stacks
Oakland, Miami, and Pittsburgh have some of the best matchups on the board but I’m not thrilled to stack up any of those teams.
Blue Jays
If there was ever a spot for these Blue Jays righties to heat up it would be here.
MacKenzie Gore has looked decent this year, but I still love this offense against left-handers. Patrick Corbin is one of the worst pitchers in the league and Jake Irvin can get pounded here too.
*This game has questionable weather but if they can squeak out all three games then it looks like a great spot.
Cubs
Stacks look hard to come by this week, but the Cubs have a sneaky good offense and draw the bottom part of the Milwaukee rotation.
I would stick to the top of this order in Nico Hoerner, Ian Happ, Christopher Morel, and Michael Busch.
Chicago was also one of the safe zones from the rain.
Other Stacks to Consider:
Braves, Rangers, Padres, Brewers, Orioles
There you have it, the Sorare MLB Slate Breakdown for Game Week 11.
