Feel free to message me on X at @Hunter_Himself if you have any questions.

Let’s dive in!

📢 Shoutouts

Shoutout to Bastien Seguin who took down the Limited Daily Derby on Wednesday.

Mini Dodgers and Athletics stacks got the job done in this one.

🔎 Multi Game Monitor

All teams play three games!

⚾️ Pitching Primer

Tarik Skubal vs TEX (SP2)

Skubal burned many people last week when his start got pushed off the slate.

I made a lucky last-minute pivot to Chris Sale and avoided the 0.

Tarik is again listed as the SP2 for this week, and I like his odds against this Texas team that can go cold from time to time.

Zack Wheeler at CLE (SP3)

Cleveland strikes out at a below-average clip (21.2%), but Wheeler always provides a high floor/ceiling to any matchup.

He’s recorded 9,7,9, and 13 strikeouts over his last four games.

Start this man with confidence each time he toes the rubber.

Chris Sale at PIT (SP5)

It took a few weeks for Sale to heat up, but he’s looked like the Chris Sale of last season over his last two games, with 10 punch-outs in each.

His 12.00 K/9 ranks third in MLB, and his 3.15 xFIP ranks 15th.

It helps that he’s facing the Pirates, who are 29th in wRC+ (76).

Logan Webb at MIN (SP6)

Webb is leading all of baseball in xFIP (2.38) so far this season.

He has arguably the highest floor amongst starting pitchers, and this matchup against Minnesota is hardly a threatening one.

Other Starters Include:

  • Garrett Crochet at KCR (SP8)

  • Cole Ragans vs BOS (SP11)

  • Jacob deGrom at DET (SP15)

  • Pablo Lopez vs CIN (SP19)

  • Hunter Brown vs CIN (SP20)

  • Luis Castillo vs TOR (SP26)

💰 Stacks

Padres

The Rockies look incredibly bad right now, so I’d consider rostering anything sentient with a bat against them.

The Padres have a 6.43 team total in today’s game alone.

San Diego is 12th in wRC+ (103) and we know the top of their order can do some damage here.

All these starters are righties, so I like the idea of getting Jake Cronenworth in there. He should return for this series.

Yankees

Aaron Judge is playing out of his mind right now, so he’s going to be the guy you really want here.

The Yanks are first in wRC+ (129) this season, and shouldn’t have a problem navigating through this A’s rotation.

Orioles

Baltimore has been one of the biggest disappointments to start the season, but a lot of that has been due to their poor pitching.

I still think this lineup is good, and a matchup against the Angels could get these bats rolling.

Gunnar Henderson has recorded a hit in all but one of his last ten games, and this looks like a solid spot for him.

Other Stacks Include:

Dodgers, Braves, Marlins, Nationals
