Sorare MLB GW15 Breakdown | Judge Gets His Revenge
Welcome to the Sorare MLB Game Week 15 Breakdown!
My goal for these slate breakdowns is to create an all-in-one place for users to get an overview of each Game Week and use that information to pinpoint marketplace inefficiencies and construct a winning team.
I will be focusing on the Limited tier cards when referencing market prices as this is where the majority of Sorare users will be playing, and where there is the most liquid market.
You can find my slate breakdowns every Monday and Friday of the MLB season on Lucky Trader, or subscribe to my newsletter to get them in your inbox.

Let’s dive in!
⏪ Game Week Rewind
Michael Wacha led the way in GW14 with a 7 inning, 11 strikeout, and one hit performance against the Royals.
I’d temper expectations with Wacha however, as the Padres starter still only has a 22.2% K-rate and a 4.63 xFIP on the season.
Charlie Morton on the other hand is someone I’m looking at once again for this week when he faces the Mariners who now strike out at the highest clip in the league (25.5%).
This is an interesting leaderboard with three closers (Doval, Barlow, Floro), and two relievers (Coulombe, Brebbia).
The Giants saw strong bullpen work as they kept their series against the Phillies close with wins by 3,1, and 3.
Aaron Judge led the way with four homers against the Blue Jays in GW15.
Judge’s anger towards Toronto’s broadcasters for accusing him of stealing signs may have contributed to the late power surge.
The reigning AL MVP is now tied for fourth in the league with 12 homers, and should stay hot in one of the best hitting environments in GW15.

All teams play three games!
⚾️ Pitching Primer
Pablo Lopez/Joe Ryan at LAA
Lopez and Ryan have been two of the best pitchers in the league.
While both have a top-10 strikeout rate and a top-15 xFIP, Ryan is 16th in BB% (0.72) and first overall in WHIP (0.84).
The Angels are slightly above average in most of the advanced offensive metrics, however that won’t scare me off either of these guys.
Limited Price: Lopez: ~$10, Ryan: ~$20
Chris Sale at SDP
This one comes with a bit of risk, but Sale has been hot and the Padres have not.
Sale has the 18th-best strikeout rate (28.7%) and 24th-best xFIP (3.50), but in his last three starts he has a 24/5 strikeout to earned run ratio.
For a team that is supposed to be good, the Friars have just the 21st-best wOBA (.309), the 17th-best ISO (.155), and they strikeout at the 10th-highest clip (23.8%)
I’m not saying the old Sale is here, but the signs are pointing towards a buy-low opportunity.
Limited Price: ~$12
Other Starters Include:
~$44 Zac Gallen at PIT
~$27 Framber Valdez vs OAK
~$23 Sandy Alcantara at SFG
~$21 Kevin Gausman vs BAL
~$21 Hunter Brown vs OAK
~$14 Mitch Keller vs ARI
~$14 Aaron Nola vs CHC
~$12 Logan Webb vs MIA
~$9 Charlie Morton vs SEA
~$7 Lucas Giolito vs KCR
📞 Call To The Bullpen
Games that I think can stay competitive in GW15:
CHC/PHI, BAL/TOR, CLE/NYM
Closer Options:
~$5 Mark Leiter Jr.
~$2 Craig Kimbrel
~$18 Feliz Bautista
~$13 Jordan Romano
~$21 Emmanuel Clase
~$10 David Robertson
This could also be one of the rare weeks to start one of the closers in the Tigers and Nationals game at a basement price.
Though both teams are typically underdogs, this series could remain competitive and offer save opportunities for both Alex Lange and Kyle Finnegan.
~$7 Alex Lange
~$2 Kyle Finnegan
💰 Stacks
Yankees
New York gets a ballpark boost going to Great American to face Ben Lively, Luke Weaver, and Hunter Greene.
The Yankees are 15th in wOBA (.315) but 5th in ISO (.177) on the year as a whole.
Yankees players typically come with the “Yankees Tax” in Sorare, meaning their floor prices are elevated due to them being well-recognized, but this is still a power hitting team coming to the second-best home run hitting park in the MLB.
~$42 Anthony Volpe
~$159 Aaron Judge
~$17 Anthony Rizzo
~$9 DJ LeMahieu
~$16 Gleyber Torres
Rangers
Texas looks like they could do some damage in GW15 with the bottom-ranked Colorado pitching staff coming to Arlington.
The Rockies will roll a TBD pitcher on Friday, followed by Kyle Freeland and Connor Seabold.
This team just welcomed back Corey Seager to a team that already has the 5th-best ISO and 4th-best wOBA (.339).
~$67 Marcus Semien
~$29 Corey Seager
~$15 Nate Lowe
~$27 Adolis García
~$9 Jonah Heim
Other Stacks To Consider:
White Sox, Tigers, Nationals
Value Options (Under $20):
Middle Infielder:
~$19 Christopher Morel, ~$16 Sean Murphy, ~$17 Jonah Heim, ~$17 Gleyber Torres, ~$16 Jonathan India, ~$19 Carlos Correa
Corner Infielder:
~$17 Christian Yelich, ~$15 Anthony Santander, ~$12 Justin Turner, ~$19 Miguel Vargas, ~$15 Jake Burger, ~$9 C.J. Cron
Outfielder:
~$18 Alex Verdugo, ~$11 Riley Greene, ~$19 Brent Rooker, ~$11 Joey Meneses, ~$10 Andrew Vaughn, ~$19 Kyle Schwarber
