🔎 Multi Game Monitor

All teams play three games!

⚾️ Pitching Primer

Tarik Skubal vs CHC (SP2)

Skubal had his start pushed off last Game Week.

The news came early in the week, though, so hopefully not too many people were burned by him.

The Cubs are a much better offense than the White Sox, but Skubal is still the top arm here.

Chicago strikes out at the fifth-lowest rate in MLB (20%), and they are third in wRC+ (120).

Paul Skenes vs PHI (SP4)

Skenes hasn’t allowed more than one run in a game in exactly one month.

He’s arguably been the best pitcher in MLB since then, so I’m not too worried about his start against Philly here.

Last time he faced them, he struck out nine over eight innings and allowed just one run.

Logan Webb vs ATL (SP6)

The risk of a blow-up start from Webb is always minimal.

Atlanta is another tough matchup. They are about league-average this year, but have been on the rise ever since Ronald Acuña Jr. re-entered their lineup.

Webb is only behind Skubal in xFIP this season (2.32).

Other Starters Include:

  • Garret Crochet at NYY (SP7)

  • Spencer Strider at SFG (SP10)

  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto at STL (SP11)

  • Spencer Schwellenbach at SFG (SP14)

  • George Kirby at LAA (SP15)

  • Jacob deGrom at WSH (SP16)

  • Hunter Brown at CLE (SP18)

  • Carlos Rodon vs BOS (SP22)

💰 Stacks

Mets

Francisco Lindor will have to be monitored with his fractured pinky toe, but the Mets are going to be the top stack at Coors Field this weekend.

Pete Alonso has been on fire lately, and you can stack him with Juan Soto or Brandon Nimmo here.

Mariners

Angels’ pitching has been #bad, and the Mariners have the Big Dumper, aka Cal Raleigh, who leads MLB with 24 homers.

A Raleigh, JRod stack has a lot of upside here.

Royals

If you want to get a little different on this slate (Everyone will likely be playing Mets), the Royals could offer some sneaky plays.

Bobby Witt Jr. is always a great play, but you can play him with Vinnie Pasquantino or Maikel Garcia.

I don’t believe Jac Caglianone cards exist yet, but when they do, you should probably get some.

Other Stacks Include:

Padres, Yankees, Red Sox, Rays
