Let’s dive in!

🔎 Multi Game Monitor

Four Games:

Cubs, Pirates, Cardinals, Brewers

Three Games:

Everyone else!

⚾️ Pitching Primer

Tarik Skubal at BAL (SP2)

Once again, Skubal is at the top of the pitching leaderboard.

He did not disappoint in his last outing, striking out six Cubs over seven innings.

Baltimore is full of young bats, which has their K% at the third-highest rate in the league (23.8%).

Last time he faced them, Skubal recorded 11 punch-outs over six innings.

Zack Wheeler vs CHC (SP3)

Wheeler is coming off a rare poor outing against Atlanta.

Over his last ten starts, Atlanta is the only team to put up 5 or more runs against him in a start (And they did it twice).

Maybe it’s because they’ve seen him so much that they have him figured out.

Either way, the Cubs are a tough matchup, but Skubal took care of them in his last start, so maybe Wheeler can too.

Chris Sale at MIL (SP5)

Steady sale keeps dominating every start, and now draws a matchup against Milwaukee that doesn’t scare me all that much.

The Brew Crew is about league-average in K% (21.3%), and Sale is second in MLB in K/9 (11.73).

It’s 2A and 2B for him and Wheeler this week, in my opinion.

Other Starters Include:

  • Max Fried at KCR (SP9)

  • Spencer Schwellenbach at MIL (SP12)

  • Framber Valdez vs CWS (SP14)

  • Bryan Woo at ARI (SP21)

  • Kodai Senga vs WSH (SP36)

  • Bailey Ober vs TEX (SP45)

💰 Stacks

Giants

San Fran plays three games, but they are still my favorite stack this week.

They draw two lefties here, which immediately puts Matt Chapman, Heliot Ramos, and Wilmer Flores on my radar here.

Just make sure to monitor Chapman, who is day-to-day with a hand injury.

Pirates

The Pirates are not a good offense.

BUT, they are one of four teams playing four games, and they draw the Marlins for three of those.

This could be the week for ONeil Cruz and Bryan Reynolds stacks.

Rays

I think the Rays could be sneaky this week as they head to Fenway to face three questionable righties.

They will avoid Garrett Crochet in this one.

Brandon Lowe, Junior Caminero, and Jonathan Aranda are my favorites here.

Other Stacks Include:

Cardinals, Astros, Cubs, Dodgers
