Sorare MLB GW24 Breakdown | Polar Bear Returns
Welcome to the Sorare MLB Game Week 24 Breakdown!
My goal for these slate breakdowns is to create an all-in-one place for users to get an overview of each Game Week and use that information to pinpoint marketplace inefficiencies and construct a winning team.
I will be focusing on the Limited tier cards when referencing market prices as this is where the majority of Sorare users will be playing, and where there is the most liquid market.

Let’s dive in!
⏪ Game Week Rewind
Lance Lynn led the way by striking out 16, yes 16, Mariners in GW23.
This is more of a testament to how much Seattle has been striking out against right-handed pitching than it is old-man Lynn’s strikeout ability.
I also want to note Bryan Bello’s dominant 7 inning, 8 strikeout performance last night against the Yankees.
It was the youngster’s best start of the season and he could be someone to have your eye in in Sorare going forward.
Marlins relievers did well in GW23 as the fish kept their series against Washington close this weekend.
Josh Hader was an unsurprising leader here as the Padres needed him to close out a couple close matches versus the tough Rays.
Another day, another two Braves lurking inside the top five.
This time, an unlikely duo of Eddie Rosario and Travis d’Arnaud popped off, including a whopping 93 Sorare points for Rosario.
Rosario never gets the love he deserves in Sorare.
This is the second time he’s put up a huge score and yet his Limited price still remains below $10.

⚾️ Pitching Primer
Gerrit Cole vs SEA
Cole is one of my favorite options at the top with his matchup agains the strikeout-happy Mariners.
The Yankees’ ace has been steady over his last three starts, allowing no more than two runs and striking out at least five in each.
These include matchups against the Mets, Red Sox, and Dodgers.
Despite having “name value” his Sorare Limited price is hovering out only $25.
Limited Price: ~$25
Nathan Eovaldi at CHW
“Nasty Nate” Eovaldi should keep his stellar season rolling with a visits to Chicago to take on a middle of the pack White Sox offense this week.
Eovaldi still ranks 11th overall in xFIP (3.33) and 6th in HR/9 (0.58), which display how he’s been able to limit damage so much this year.
He’s been throwing his splitter 27.4% of the time this year, only behind Kevin Gausman (39.1%), and Taijuan Walker (35.5%).
Fire up Nate with some confidence this week
Limited Price: ~$22
Other Starters Include:
~$23 Hunter Brown vs NYM
~$97 Spencer Strider at PHI
~$9 James Paxton at MIN
~$29 Zac Gallen at MIL
~$239 Shohei Ohtani vs LAD
~$18 Joe Ryan vs BOS
~$9 Pablo Lopez vs BOS
~$19 Clayton Kershaw at LAA
📞 Call To The Bullpen
Here I want to focus on the nine teams playing all four games while also prioritizing teams who should be playing in competitive games.
Teams I’m focusing on:
BOS, MIN, ARI, PIT, SDP, SFG
Closer Options:
~$6 Kenley Jansen
~$7 Jhoan Duran
~$3 Andrew Chafin
~$11 David Bednar
~$20 Josh Hader
~$16 Camilo Doval
💰 Stacks
Diamondbacks
I love the Diamondbacks this week.
They will play three games at Miller Park against Corbin Burnes, Colin Rea, and Julio Tehran, before heading to Nationals Park to play a fourth game against a TBD pitcher.
Miller Park is great for lefty power, and this Arizona lineup can get left-handed heavy in a hurry against three right-handed Brewers pitchers.
Arizona sneakily ranks sixth in wOBA (.333), seventh in ISO (.176), and ninth in wRC+ (107).
It would be unwise to leave Corbin Carroll out of your stack. :)
~$114 Corbin Carroll
~$19 Ketel Marte
~$11 Jake McCarthy
~$4 Pavin Smith
~$13 Christian Walker
Other Stacks to Consider:
Royals, Twins, Red Sox, Reds, Padres
Value Options (Under $20):
Middle Infielder:
~$16 Jonathan India, ~$19 Oneil Cruz, ~$13 Daulton Varsho, ~$14 Jeremy Peña, ~$18 Edouard Julien, ~$14 Carlos Correa
Corner Infielder:
~$19 Ketel Marte, ~$19 Luis Arraez, ~$13 Isaac Paredes, ~$14 Gary Sanchez, ~$19 Alex Bregman, ~$19 Bryan Reynolds, ~$9 Ryan Noda
Outfielder:
~$7 Jo Adell, ~$10 Michael Conforto, ~$17 Steven Kwan, ~$14 Riley Greene, ~$9 Marcell Ozuna, ~$14 Christian Yelich
