⏪ Game Week Rewind
Congrats to Bob Flynn, aka OrangeFly, who finished second in Limited American League in GW40.
If George Kirby wasn’t a huge letdown against the Tigers, this team could have easily placed first.

⚾️ Pitching Primer
Framber Valdez/Hunter Brown/Spencer Arrighetti vs CWS
I’ll take anyone with a pulse against the White Sox at this point.
It helps that all three of these Astros’ pitchers carry upside.
Arrighetti has 25 strikeouts over his last two starts and looks like a smash play this week.
but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Paul Skenes vs SEA
He won’t come cheap in the Sorare marketplace but the matchup against Seattle is fantastic.
The Mariners strikeout at the highest rate in the league (27.8%) and this is on of the best pitcher’s parks in baseball.
Skenes hasn’t flashed too much upside over his last three starts, but those three came against Houston, Arizona, and the Dodgers.
He still has the seventh-highest K/9 in MLB (11.25).
Blake Snell at OAK
You can’t fade Snell right now.
He has 45 strikeouts over his last four starts and now draws Oakland, a team that strikes out in bunches.
Snell is second in K/9 (11.87), and 13th in xFIP (3.27).
Other Starters Include:
Chris Sale at LAA
Tyler Glasnow at STL
Logan Gilbert/George Kirby/Luis Castillo at PIT
Tarik Skubal vs NYY
Sean Manaea vs MIA
Gerrit Cole at DET
Aaron Nola vs WSH
Justin Steele vs TOR
📞 Call To The Bullpen
28 out of 30 teams play three games this weekend so I compiled a list of closers who have plus matchups.
Closer Options:
Jhoan Duran - MIN
Josh Hader - HOU
Edwin Diaz - NYM
Raisel Iglesias - ATL
James McArthur - KCR
Emmanuel Clase - CLE
💰 Stacks
Padres
San Diego is the hottest team in baseball and now they head to Coors Field for the best spot of the weekend.
Jackson Merrill has been on fire and he’s someone I’d want to be buying for the future.
We have one lefty and two righties here so every bat from the Padres is in play here.
San Diego has scored the fifth-most runs (71) in August.
Mets
Marlins Pitching is decimated at this point in the year.
Munoz has a 5.25 xFIP, and Bellozo has a 4.73.
The Mets have a sneaky-good offense and I can see Pete Alonso and Francisco having big games this weekend.
Phillies
MacKenzie Gore has been scuffling lately after a hot start to the season.
So now the Nationals present a highly favorable matchup for opposing hitters.
Corbin is the easiest pitcher in the league to stack against and the righties on the Phillies stand out here the most.
Other Stacks Include:
Dodgers, Braves, Royals, Astros
