Let’s dive in!
⏪ Game Week Rewind
I had my best finish in Limited All Star in GW41.
I wrote up Blake Snell in Friday’s newsletter and he had another dominant performance against Oakland with ten strikeouts.
Cal Raleigh almost sunk this team by sitting out on Saturday, but he hit a homer in his first at-bat on Sunday to secure a solid score.
Also, shoutout to Vinnie Pasquantino, aka The Pasquatch, for the 62 points.

☔️ Rain Check
Weather should not be an issue this week.
Queens (BAL at NYM) - thunderstorms Monday but clear after that
Washington D.C. (COL at WSH) - thunderstorms Monday but clear after that
⚾️ Pitching Primer
Logan Webb vs CWS
I wish Snell had his turn in the rotation against these White Sox, but we still get some solid options to choose from on the San Fran side.
Webb would be my favorite play. He has allowed two runs over his last four starts and he’s struck out 25.
He is eighth in xFIP on the year (3.28) and Chicago is dead last in wRC+ (74).
Cole Ragans vs LAA
The Angels strikeout at a league-average rate but they have just a 91 wRC+ and they are bottom-five in wOBA (.299) and ISO (.140).
Ragans has been dominant this season, ranking seventh in K/9 (10.63) and ninth in xFIP (3.31).
His last three starts against Minnesota, Boston, and Detroit have been dominant.
Fire him up with confidence this week.
Other Starters Include:
Jack Flaherty vs SEA
Michael King vs MIN
Dylan Cease vs NYM
Zack Wheeler at ATL
Kyle Harrison vs CWS
Taj Bradley at OAK
Jeffrey Springs at OAK
Brandon Pfaadt at MIA
📞 Call To The Bullpen
Ten teams are playing four games this week, so choosing a closer from one of those teams would be ideal.
It’s important to note that Seranthony Dominguez was recently moved into the closer role for Baltimore over Craig Kimbrel.
Closers With Four Games:
Seranthony Dominguez - BAL
Alexis Diaz - CIN
Josh Hader - HOU
Ben Joyce - LAA
Edwin Diaz - NYM
Mason Miller - OAK
David Bednar - PIT
Robert Suarez - SDP
Pete Fairbanks - TBR
Chad Green - TOR
💰 Stacks
This is a unique slate where the teams in the best spots don’t necessarily have the best offenses.
I wouldn’t solely rely on these four-gamers this week, but mixing them with your studs seems like an optimal strategy.
Rays
Oakland doesn’t have anyone in their rotation to be feared.
Tampa should be able to generate runs in this series at the Coliseum, even though their offense isn’t great.
Brandon Lowe has been on fire and he’s one of the best plays this week. He will draw four righties in this one.
Blue Jays
Toronto’s offense isn’t too exciting either but they will face the bottom part of the Reds rotation and then Griffin Canning of the Angels on Thursday.
Give me Vladdy and Varsho specifically from this squad.
Pirates
Again, too many Pirates might be a bad thing but a two-man stack of Bryan Reynolds and ONeil Cruz could be solid.
Maybe even Rowdy Tellez if you’re feeling frisky.
Other Stacks Include:
Padres, Orioles, Mets
