⏪ Game Week Rewind
There were winners everywhere last week.
Jumpshoot took down first in Limited Champion with the help from some Phillies and Yordan Alvarez
HimerSompson could finally put Kyle Tucker to good use, and got some late-night heroics from him and Jose Altuve.
Eric Anderberg won Limited Pro with Michael King in the RP slot.
King started against the Giants, but his Classic cards can be used in the RP slot.
And finally, Jake Ritenour won Limited All Star with some help from Framber Valdez (I will talk about him soon) and a last-minute homer from Eugenio Suarez.

☔️ Rain Check
Only one spot stands out as problematic this week.
Ironically it’s the one day when Sonny Gray is pitching.
But the weather doesn’t look so sunny.
There is only a 34% chance, so I won’t slap the risk tag on this one.
St. Louis - 34% chance PM showers Thursday
⚾️ Pitching Primer
Framber Valdez and Hunter Brown vs OAK
Valdez is the preferred option of the two here, but Brown has allowed more than two runs just once over his last ten games.
Both carry a high floor, and the ceiling is even higher here against Oakland.
The A’s strikeout at the 4th-highest rate in the league (24.7%), but they do have the 10th-highest ISO (.164).
Valdez is elite at preventing power, so he should be able to go deep into this one.
Tarik Skubal vs COL
Skubal went just five innings in his last start, but he still had 96 pitches.
I’m not too worried about his leash in this one.
The Rockies (on the road) present arguably the best matchup, and Skubal has been arguably the best pitcher in MLB.
His 2.86 xFIP is third among qualified pitchers.
Pablo Lopez vs LAA
Lopez has been dominating lately, and now he draws a fantastic matchup against the Angels.
Lopez has the 10th-lowest xFIP (3.29) and the 14th-highest K/9 (9.59) on the year.
The Angels strikeout at the 12th-highest rate (23.3%) and they are just about bottom-five in wOBA, ISO, and wRC+.
He’s also gone over 100 pitches in four of his last ten starts.
Other Starters Include:
Zack Wheeler vs TBR
David Festa vs LAA
Paul Skenes vs MIA
Blake Snell vs MIL
Sonny Gray vs CIN
📞 Call To The Bullpen
Three of the six teams playing four games use a closer committee per FanGraphs.
That leaves three options that stand out at the top.
Three of Clase’s games will come against the White Sox and the fourth against the Rays.
He’s the top overall option.
Closer With Four Games:
Kenley Jansen - BOS
Alexis Diaz - CIN
Emmanuel Clase - CLE
Other Options Include:
David Bednar - PIT
Jhoan Duran - MIN
Raisel Iglesias - ATL
Ryan Helsley - STL
💰 Stacks
Red Sox
Yes, Boston is cold, but hear me out.
Three of the four games will be at Fenway, and they will not face the two best pitchers on the Orioles.
I would have some caution with Triston Casas because he has had just three hits over his last ten games since returning from injury.
Boston is 10th in wRC+ (106), 6th in wOBA (.325), and 4th in ISO (.175) on the year.
Guardians
Cleveland is not the most fun team to stack but they draw the White Sox for three games, followed by one game against the Rays.
Chicago has one of the worst rotations in the league, followed by an awful bullpen.
Their bullpen is 28th in baseball with a 4.50 xFIP.
Steven Kwan has been cold, but I love Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor at the top.
Other Stacks Include:
Yankees, Tigers, Astros, Reds

Great content as always! I'm gonna roll the dice on Kyle Manzardo for the Guards stack this week with at least 3 RHP. Hopefully this is the week he breaks out.
