🔎 Multi Game Monitor

All teams play three games!

⚾️ Pitching Primer

Garrett Crochet at CWS

It's a revenge game here for Crochet who has allowed 3 runs and racked up 17 K’s in his first three starts for Boston. Chicago is ranked near or at the bottom in most offensive metrics.

Nick Pivetta vs COL

Pivetta was stellar in his first game for the Braves but had some struggles in his last start against the Cubs. Picking on the Rockies on the road is a winning strategy and this game will be played at pitcher-friendly Petco Park.

Logan Gilbert vs TEX

Gilbert has been great this season, but he’s had some solid matchups in the Athletics, Tigers, and the Astros. Texas is a threatening opponent, but this game will be played in Seattle and Gilbert has already racked up 25 K’s so far this year, which ties him for the league lead. He’s Leading MLB with a 1.47 xFIP.

Zack Wheeler at STL

Wheeler is tied with Gilbert for the most K’s so far this year. He’s been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last several years, and he should bring his high floor into a friendly matchup here against St. Louis. He’s 9th in MLB with a 2.41 xFIP.

Other Starters Include:

  • Corbin Burnes vs MIL

  • Jacob deGrom at SEA

  • Chris Sale at TBR

  • Cole Ragans at CLE

  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto vs CHC

  • Tyler Glasnow vs CHC

💰 Stacks

Red Sox

The Boston stack didn’t get there last week in their four games at Fenway, but the weather was cold and Blue Jays pitching can be sneaky good.

This week they draw an even better matchup against the White Sox.

Chicago doesn’t have anything close to an ace, and all three of these pitchers are ranked 188 or worse on FantasyPros.

Padres

San Diego draws an elite matchup against the Rockies at home.

The Friars have been sneaky good on offense this season, ranking 7th in wRC+ (119).

I don’t love the bottom of this order, and Jackson Merill was just placed on the IL, but give me Tatis, Cronenworth, and Machado.

Astros

Houston is no longer the offense threat we’ve seen over the past decade.

They have the fourth-worst wRC+ with just a 74.

But if you want some value, mixing in some Astros against this brutal Angels rotation could provide some spark to your lineups.

Other Stacks Include:

Phillies, Dodgers, Reds, Mets
