⏪ Game Week Rewind
I woke up to several people tagging me in screenshots.
TwoMan23 took down Limited Pro without Shohei Ohtani.
Matt finished just behind him, with 143 points from Ohtani alone.
Alhor placed fourth in Common Majors with Dodgers and Braves stacks.
And finally, KLamp took down Limited Champion with a big boost from Ohtani’s historic day yesterday.

☔️ Rain Check
Chicago - (WSH at CHC) - The weather looks bad on Sunday which is the most important day on a weekend slate. *RISK*
Cincinnati - (PIT at CIN) - 42% chance of PM thunderstorms on Sunday *RISK*
St. Louis - (CLE at STL) - 80% chance of thunderstorms Sunday *RISK*
Kansas City - (SFG at KCR) - 80% chance of thunderstorms Sunday *RISK*
⚾️ Pitching Primer
Gerrit Cole/Carlos Rodon/Luis Gil at OAK
Oakland strikes out at the fourth-highest rate in the league (24.8%) and New York will throw a trio of viable pitchers against them this weekend.
The A’s have some decent right-handed power so Cole and Hil would be my favorites here.
Gil has the highest K/9 of the bunch (10.30), but Rodon isn’t far behind (10.23).
All three have just over a 4.00 in the xFIP department.
This ballpark is also great for pitching, and I think we see at least one of these guys have a big outing.
Joe Musgrove/Yu Darvish vs CWS
The White Sox have been the easiest team to pick on all season.
They strikeout at the 10th-highest rate (23.9%), and they are dead last in wRC+ (75), ISO (.119), and wOBA (.273).
Musgrove has a solid 8.86 K/9 and 3.91 xFIP.
Darvish has a slightly lower K/9 (8.36) but they’ve been similar this season.
San Diego needs to keep winning games down the stretch for the playoffs, and they get it easy against Chicago.
Other Starters Include:
Max Fried at MIA
Shota Imanaga vs WSH
Yoshinobu Yamamoto vs COL
Pablo Lopez at BOS
Zack Wheeler at NYM
Paul Skenes at CIN
Blake Snell at KCR
📞 Call To The Bullpen
All teams play three games so our best bet is to target closers who are likely to get appearances and haven’t pitched in a while.
We should note that Emmanuel Clase has pitched in four of his last six games and may require rest.
Closer Options:
Raisel Iglesias - Has pitched in one of last six games
Alexis Diaz - Has pitched in one of last six games
Devin Williams - Has pitched in one of last six games
Michael Kopech - Has pitched in two of last six games
Jhoan Duran - Has pitched in two of last six games
Robert Suarez - Has pitched in three of last six games
💰 Stacks
Dodgers
The Dodgers were the stacks that everyone needed last week against Miami, and now they draw an even better matchup against Colorado.
These are three of the league's worst pitchers, and the Dodgers are at full strength.
Los Angeles is first in wRC+ (116) and ISO (.188), and second in (.334) on the year.
The more Dodgers you have this week, the better.
Braves
Speaking of beating up on the Marlins, the Braves draw the fish this week in Miami.
Atlanta needs to keep winning if they want to make the playoffs.
Matt Olson has been hot and he’s another fantastic play this week.
They should also be getting back Ozzie Albies today which would be a huge boost to this offense.
Yankees
All the best offenses in the league are facing the worst pitchers.
This should be a high-scoring weekend.
Juan Soto is day-to-day with an injury, but if he’s healthy, pair him up with Aaron Judge for a phenomenal two-man stack this week.
Other Stacks Include:
Astros, Padres, Orioles
